Lovely photograph. With all respect to Leo I prefer to think of darkness as the absence of light.

The wash of colors is very stunning. So, how goes your sunrise photowork in ATL?
P.S. Like your daughter trying her hand at surfing.

You’re right, Jo, it is forever, isn’t it? I don’t often think of it that way, something I should about every time I take a picture. Make it more momentous! 🙂

The picture and quote are lovely. They reminded me that art and living are expressions which are never completed. We are always expressing our self anew just as wonderful artists express themselves and their work anew.

Ivon, if I could write with the same incite and perception as you, I wouldn’t need to rely on an old master to convey my thoughts. But who could say it better than da Vinci? I appreciate your reflagging my post along with your beautiful caption. You’ve always been supportive of me and many other bloggers, which means more than you can know! Thank you!

I remember when you were a bit hesitant about your writing, which I think is wonderful. And now I sense you are pushing yourself more seriously into photography? Well, I for one think your images are topnotch. Love that Instagram surfboard picture on the sidebar!

Yes, still hesitant, but the support of friends and fellow bloggers has made it easier find my voice…meek as it may be! I am trying to improve my photography skills, but find that I’m usually so overcome by the moment that I choke on the technical. Thank you so much for your encouragement, I always look forward to hearing from you. (That is my daughter on the surfboard, who found that surfing wasn’t as easy as she thought it would be. A Go Pro shot taken by her friend.) Take care, and a squeeze to Tzuri!

What a gorgeous image, Elisa. I also thought it was a painting. I have to agree with da Vinci. I could have fiddled around forever with my lighthouse pic, but decided it would have to do as it is, or I would never finish and get onto the next one. 🙂

I think if I were a painter, I would be the fiddle with it forever type. Exasperating! You have the gift not only of being a gifted artist, but of being a gifted artist who knows when to stop! 🙂

LOVED this post, your shot, and the quote, one in fact, I do understand, even applied to Life itself. “From out of the void, all Beauty is made.” Bless you! Words came that will match perfectly with a photo that I am about ready to post soon. Thank YOU so much!! (((HUGS))) Amy
